On the front page of their website, the CEO of “Bara” (as it is known) calls the city of Soweto questionable. I admit taking her comment out of context, but instead of saying, “Soweto is arguably one of the best known cities in South Africa”, she actually wrote, “Soweto is questionably the best-known city in South Africa”.
Um, yeah. Sure thing, Dr Bondarenko. Are you dubiously the best CEO then?
I read or heard somewhere that you have to be a medical doctor to be the head of a medical institution in this country, regardless of your business skills. Well, let’s hope I’m wrong. Granted, this is not a judgement on all Doctor-CEOs, but think about it for a while.
